Marvel comics as we know them today were started by Marin Goodman in 1939 as Timely Comics which was later shifted to Atlas Comics In 1961. Atlas Comics first launched The Fantastic Four and other superhero comics in the year 1961, which were created by Stan Lee Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko.
This series is said to kickstart the marvel comic universe. It was created by the artist Jack Kirby and editor Stan Lee who developed this project together. The series consisted of four main characters who gained superpowers by cosmic rays in a mission to outer space. The series became popular and escalated Marvel’s sales and popularity. Later it also created solo spin-offs like The Human Torch solo, The Thing solo, and Invisible Woman solo.
We all know the hulk we see in the Marvel movies, but where did this legend start from? The comic started in 1962 with the same name which was about the gamma-affected superhero hulk and his normal personality Dr bruce banner. The series took many turns and got many volumes. After the character gained fame, thor odinson was included in The Avengers as a founding member of the team. The character then dominated the comic Journey Into Mystery and is loved by everyone now.

The character ANT-MAN first appeared in the comic Tales to Astonish which was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby. The original Ant-man was the scientist Hank Pym who created the formula to change an object’s size. The character of ant man was given to Scott Lang then which later turned into many superhero identities. The series gained fame and Ant-Man became one of the founding members of the Avenger’s team. The character was created by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber and designed by Don Heck and Jack Kirby. Iron Man later got his own series which was named on him ‘Iron Man’ in 1968. In 1963, the character founded the Avengers with Thor, Ant-man, Wasp, and the Hulk.

The High School Neighbourhood Superhero first appeared in the comic book Amazing Fantasy in 1962. The character was created by Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. The story covered a homeboy Peter Parker who was raised by his aunt. The character was very relatable and very realistic in terms of struggles. The character was showered with love and hence got a solo series ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’. The character then became a part of The Avenger’s team and was featured in many comic book series.
